NEW LEADERSHIP ELECTED TO TOLL AGENCY BOARDS
IRVINE, Calif. (June 14, 2007) – The Boards of the Foothill/Eastern and San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor Agencies elected new leadership to serve starting July 1.
Jim Dahl was elected Chairman of the San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor Agency Board, which oversees the 73 Toll Road. Dahl is a San Clemente City Councilmember and has been the city’s representative to the San Joaquin Hills Agency since 1997. He replaces Carmen Cave, San Joaquin Hills Chairwoman since 2006, who represents Aliso Viejo.
Lance MacLean was elected Chairman of the Foothill/Eastern Transportation Corridor Agency Board, which oversees operation of the 241, 261, and 133 Toll Roads. MacLean is a Mission Viejo Councilmember who has served on the Foothill/Eastern Board since 2003. MacLean replaces Jim Thor of Rancho Santa Margarita who served as Foothill/Eastern Chairman since 2006.
Other Board appointments include:
- Jerry Amante, Tustin City Councilmember, as Vice Chair of the Foothill/Eastern Agency
- Lucille Kring, Anaheim City Councilmember, as Secretary of the Foothill/Eastern Agency
- Joel Lautenschleger, Laguna Hills City Councilmember, as Vice Chair of the San Joaquin Hills Agency
- Diane Harkey, Dana Point City Councilmember, as Secretary of the San Joaquin Hills Agency

The Toll Roads are operated by the Foothill/Eastern and San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor Agencies, two joint powers authorities formed in 1986 to plan, finance, construct, and operate Orange County's 67-mile public toll road system.
